He shared how the service has helped him connect to the people around him and with himself in a positive way for the first time in his life. I have to admit, I cried hearing this. It made me think how important it is for great people like you to join this movement. Let’s get this service available in your area!
#1) What Do I Need To Know?
You will need to agree to the following rules in order to gain your certification and become part of certifiedcuddlers.com (and planetcuddle.com for those who prefer something more fun!). Certifiedcuddlers.com will be the search engine where potential clients will find certified professionals in their area to cuddle with. I will be actively promoting this site so you’ll benefit from my future publicity.
Believe it or not, you are about to become a leader in this industry. These rules were designed by myself and a team of experts to make sure you are safe, can truly help your clients, and have a thriving cuddle business that’s a positive part of your community. That means setting clear expectations and standards of what this service is and isn’t so platonic cuddling can go mainstream.
The Rules
1. The supplied client waivers must be used with all clients and agreed to by all parties involved.
2. Any changes to the waivers must be approved by CertfiedCuddlers.com before use.
3. The only reasons you are able to turn down a client is if they do not qualify based on the requirements in
the waiver or you feel a romantic connection to them that you would have potential interest in exploring. This means you must be willing to take any appropriate client who is 18 and over regardless of gender, race, age, sexual preference, and so on. All must be welcome.
4. If you are operating a cuddling business, each employee must be individually certified. Discounts are available for multiple employees under the same company name.
5. No touching of swimsuit/underwear areas with hands, ever.
6. No sexual acts of any kind.
7. No sexual/adult services may be offered in the same location as this service.
8. No tips may be accepted
9. No gifts of monetary value over $25 may be accepted, and are frowned upon overall
10. You must be sober for all working hours besides doctor prescribed medication that is being used as
directed.
11. No dating clients. If you decide you want to pursue a relationship with someone who has completed a
session this means they will no longer be able to see you in a professional manner. They will not be
eligible to become a client of yours again for a minimum of 90 days after your last personal interaction.
12. Attire must be appropriate for sessions and conservative for consultations or other business interactions.
This specifically means a minimum of a tank top and shorts that go below your fingertips for sessions.
13. No advertising on craigslist or backpage, or similar sites.
14. You must use Certified Cuddlers approved positions when offering clients choices, but you may limit
the number of available positions offered. Currently there are more than 50 you will be taught.
15. You are welcome to submit new positions for approval at any time that will be shared with the group
once accepted.
16. In order to obtain your certification you must agree to an oath that details the regulations set forth above.
17. Any information obtained through the training course or reference manual is considered proprietary and
is not to be shared with anyone who is uncertified, except for the use of published information on certifiedcuddlers.com which will include: popular positions, waivers, and client rules. If the information is shared, we reserve the right to revoke certification and all training materials will be required to be returned.
18. You must be 18 or older at the time of training. Any human 18 or older is welcome.
#2) Which Course Is For Me?
You’ve read the rules, and you are on board. You can’t wait to get started, but you aren’t sure which training is best for you. Read below to find out more details about each option available and then continue reading to learn how to sign up.
The online certification will allow you to complete basic concepts and techniques with the help of your local support system (likely friends and family). You will follow along on video instruction, read through a manual that will teach you the ins and outs of how to conduct consultations, ensure you are taking on only appropriate clients, learn how to market yourself, security measures and more before taking a quiz and submitting your information so you can start taking on clients of your own! While this is a very simple version of the hands on training, it will give you enough to get started and earn the income needed to take the hands on training if you decide this is the right path for you.
Price for the Online Certification: $199 plus $49 annual renewal
In order to condense the hands on training and lower the costs of the program we have developed a program that is half prerequired coursework for you to complete on your own, and then 2 intensive days of hands on training to complete the more challenging part of the learning process with guidance and in person support. If you feel comfortable practicing poses with friends and/or family at home, this course is a great option for you. You will need to sign up far enough in advance in order to receive the prereq coursebook and complete it before arriving. Please note, if you arrive without all prereq’s complete we will send you away to reschedule for after you have completed everything necessary.

Training Dates Available For The 2 Day Course in 2016:
Classes for the 2 day program will be held the first and last Tues/Wed of each month starting in April
If you work best with more one on one attention and prefer to have lots of time for questions and feedback on all topics covered the 45 day courses are best for you. We will start with the basics and teach you every step of the way in small groups with loads of individual attention. You will not need to prepare for this course as we will teach you everything you need to know on site. The only difference between the 4 and 5 day course is how long you prefer your days to be. This is an intensive training program and some of you may prefer to have more down time in order to absorb the material better. The 4 day classes are 10 hour days, the 5 day classes are 8 hour days.

(2 day course: $900, 45 day course: $1,600)
* 3 or more weeks in advance: 40% off the total cost
(2 day course: $1,080, 45 day course: $1920)
* 2 or more weeks in advance: 30% off the total cost
(2 day course: $1,260, 45 day course: $2240)
* Less than 2 weeks in advance: regular price
(Online Certification has no discounts available due to the already low cost)
What about group discounts you say? Sure! If you want to bring a friend(s) or business partner(s) to also get training we are happy to offer customized pricing to fit your scenario. Email us to see what we can work out. We are happy to bring multiple people into an existing class or set up one just for your group.
What if I want a one on one training program? Sure! For one on one training the costs are as follows:

One on one on site training at 1015 E Burnside St, Portland, OR 97214 with Samantha Hess: $60/hr
What if I need different dates than what is listed? Sure! We are happy to work with you on a custom program to fit your schedule. Pricing will be equal to what is listed for the one on one training just above.
#4) How Do I Register?
Once you have chosen your class type (2,4 or 5 day program) email samantha@cuddleuptome.com for confirmation.
For the 4 or 5 day course, you’ll need to send a $500 nonrefundable deposit to hold your seat, with the remainder being due upon arrival (Paypal to samantha@cuddleuptome.com, or check/money order payable to Fulcrum Solutions LLC at 1015 E Burnside St, Portland, OR 97214.)
For those of you taking the 2 day course you will be able to confirm your course date after you have received the pre assigned work (to ensure you know how much time you will need to complete it before confirming your onsite dates.) The materials for the 2 day course will be mailed out once full payment is confirmed.
